MEZCALERODon Baltazar is Del Suelo’s mezcalero, responsible for the journey of our liquid from the mountainside to the bottle. His journey began in his childhood, shadowing his father and grandfathers in the agave fields near the village. Through time and dedication, his hands and palate learned the subtleties of the art of distillation. His mezcal is a reflection of his philosophy: expressive, authentic, and deeply connected to his village.

PALENQUE PARTNERBorn into a family far removed from the traditional mezcal-producing dynasties of Mexico, Alí travelled extensively through Oaxaca, immersing himself in the rich culture and traditions surrounding mezcal. In a bold move he invested in our small, rustic palenque, and began to innovate in collaboration with Don Baltazar.
Today, Alí is not just a mezcal brand owner; he is a storyteller, a bridge between the old and the new. His commitment to sustainability, community, and quality has made him a respected figure in the mezcal world.
